Water Care Awareness

In commemoration of World Water Day (March 22), an awareness talk was given to CLEANMEX personnel, as this is a vital resource for everyone.

Active Engagement

March 13, 2026: Project Launch

CLEANMEX S.A. DE C.V. partnered with the local Water and Sewage Board (Junta de Aguas y Drenajes) to conduct an initial site assessment at the HIMNO NACIONAL school. This collaboration was part of the “AGUA EN TU ESCUELA” (Water in Your School) initiative, which focuses on harvesting condensate water from air conditioning units to repurpose it primarily for school cleaning activities.

Area Recognition

A tour of the facilities was conducted to perform the area recognition and verify the number of air conditioners, as well as to identify the materials and containers that will be required for their installation.

The objective of the project is to collect water from approximately 25 air conditioners, conduct it through pipes, and collect it in containers to later be used for watering plants, cleaning restrooms, and general cleaning.

March 31, 2026: Second visit and container installation.

April 23, 2026: Completion of the project.

The installation of 16 drums was concluded, which will allow storing up to 3200 liters of water that will be used mainly for cleaning the facilities.

Handover of the project Agua en la Escuela

On June 06, 2026, the formal handover of the project “AGUA EN LA ESCUELA” was carried out, with a ceremony taking place at the HIMNO NACIONAL school where a recognition was delivered.

With these actions, more than 600 studentswill benefit. The company CLEANMEX S.A. DE C.V. proudly reiterates its commitment to caring for the environment and giving back to society.
